Vanilla-Inspired Teleporters Mod makes it easier for players to set keys for their teleporters in Minecraft. This mod adds a teleporter block you can place as a beacon anywhere. To use them, stand on a teleporter and wait until you get transported to your destined location. Usually, you need to enable game commands and access the console to use the teleportation function. You can then teleport to any destination, provided you know the coordinates of the place. You can also teleport to another player’s location using said player’s name. This process can be annoying, especially for players who want to transfer between locations every time they play seamlessly.
The teleporters this mod introduces work circularly: point 1 gets you to point two, and point two brings you to point 1 – they work in pairs. Players assign a key to one teleporter by right-clicking on the teleporter block. You’ll then see a key slot where your preferred key should be placed. You can use any item or any block as your key. Unique items like books and maps can also be used as keys. For books, the author and title of the book are used as identifiers, while for maps, they should be exact copies of each other. You can’t use the teleporter without a key. You can only travel through teleporters that have the same key. For example, a teleporter with a tulip as its key can only transport you to another teleporter with the same key, never a different one.
